Postcard news founder arrested

Karnataka police arrested   Mahesh Vikram Hegde, founder of the right-wing site Postcard News, often called out for carrying fake news, for its news report that a Jain muni was attacked by a Muslim youth. According to reports, the monk was knocked down by a car, but the fake news site manufactured a Muslim identity for the driver!  Karnataka goes to the polls in May, amidst a deluge of fake news reports.
