NaMo blackout

IN Media Watch Briefs | 06/10/2012

NaMo Gujarat, the TV channel that went on air on Thursday and aired Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s speeches live, has turned blank since Friday. The name of the TV channel resonates with the initials of the Chief Minister. The congress leaders had complained to the EC and requested them to find out the financer of the channel which they believe is the Chief Minister himself. The district collector has said that he had not issued any orders to take the channel off air nor did he have any orders from EC to do so. Why the channel went off air, is not known yet.
