The government has suspended mobile internet services across Kashmir to prevent escalation of protests over the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani. Mobile phone service has also been suspended in many parts of south Kashmir.  Wani was killed after serving as a militant for 6 years in Southern Kashmir's Kokernag on Friday. He carried a bounty if Rs 10 lakh on his head and was an inspiration for young recruits. Wani's forte, social media, also reacted with anger and sorrow over his killing.
