At last some journalist murders are seeing investigations yield results. The CBI has lodged an FIR against three leaders and 300 plus supporters of the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) in the case of alleged murder of journalist Santanu Bhowmik last September. The CBI has named IPFT leaders Balaram Deb Barma, Amit Deb Barma and Dhirendra Deb Barma in the FIR.
