Infiltrating edit page?

The head of Hindustan Unilever writes an edit page article in the Economic Times on handwashing initiatives undertaken by the private sector and the government of India. His company ofcourse makes soap. Elsewhere in the same issue of the paper there is a full-page paid feature on Handwashing Day with Lifebuoy soap (made by his company) featured all over the place. A package deal of some sort?
