Six and a half years ago Tehelka magazine carried photographs of a man being shot dead in an alleged encounter, following which the then correspondent who procured the photographs, Teresa Rehman, and the then managing editor of the magazine Shoma Chaudhary, had to face enquiry panels in two cities.
