No bail for Tauseef

A Kashmiri youth is lodged in a jail  in Durg, Chhattisgarh, since August 3, on charges of sedition for allegedly liking a Facebook post that made fun of India. He has been refused bail twice and on Oct 4 when it  came up again a judge of the High Court reserved his orders on Tauseef Bhat’s bail application. The judge was disinclined to grant bail because of the grave charge, said Bhat’s advocate. “The judge asked if we wanted to turn Chhattisgarh into another Kashmir and said he wouldn’t allow it to happen,” he told The Hoot.

When a panel discussion began after this,  more leading questions from the news anchor about this 'jadu ki jhappi."  And more criticism followed.                  says that  HT Media has reported a drop of 86 percent in its net profit for the June quarter to Rs 5.8 crore against Rs 41.5 crore reported by the firm during the same quarter of last year.  In May this year however  HT Media had reported over a two-fold increase in consolidated net profit  over the previous quarter, according to TOI.
